This record emerged out of the era in NYC Hip Hop where dudes were putting out 12″s without any concern for an LP (just as Jihad Records and many other indie record labels put out solely singles). The only work I appreciate by that flake Solar (not to be confused with French MC Solaar who also did work w/ Guru) since the production is bomb! Like all the artists on Jihad Records, Wise Eyez never got their shine, which is somewhat understandable considering they only put out 3 songs, and a track on the french compilation LP.
