More of a gimmick than an actual album, Flamin’ B-Dawgs Come Better consists of a number of tracks written, performed, DJ’ed, and rapped by members of the Bloods street gang. The most notable artist on the compilation is Mike T., a former member of Compton’s Most Wanted, so it should be clear that the disc is filled with mediocre or substandard artists. All of the cuts on Flamin’ are standard, by-the-books hardcore gangsta rap, with bland instrumental tracks and raps by undistinguished MCs. If these rappers weren’t members of the Bloods, it’s unlikely they would ever have been recorded.
