Songwriter Theo Martins and producer-elite Thelonious Martin arrive with “TM 2”, the follow up to the duo’s successful and chart-topping collaborative offering. TM 2 sees Theo Martins return to form as a decisive wordsmith, delicately weaving stories of his upbringing, the changes in those in and around his life and the awakening gained in the time since the duo’s collaborative debut. Producer Thelonious Martin is as sharp as ever, with obscure sample loops, and chopped, never straying from his signature swing. Martin noted he worked on the SP-404 for this project, incorporating it’s minimal setup as challenge to master. It’s perfect harmony with these at play two and “TM 2” is testament of that.
