This is the first release on Straight Al-Ta-Pazz Records, which was founded by Rodney King. Yes, THAT one, who started this whole “being filmed getting the absolute dogshit kicked out of you by the police just for being black” trend that’s so popular these days. Back then they didn’t shoot em though, they just took turns dropping nightstick haymakers on & about his head, face, neck, back, legs, and head twice more for good measure. Then all the cops who did it, and were FILMED DOING IT, got away 100% free and clear in court. This kicked off one of the OG riots of our time, complete with looting, fires, Roof Koreans, and helicopter news footage of truck drivers getting hit in the head with concrete cinder blocks.

So this is really funky LA gangsta rap. Dope album that most folks don’t know about. Enjoy.
