His name is very fitting. Him and his brother were abandoned in a strange apartment by their mother when he was 18 months old. Some time later she returned… to pick up his brother. Just his brother. 20 depressing years full of gang banging, jail, getting shot & selling crack later, and he’d had enough of it all. While hanging out with his gangbanging buddies one afternoon, he pulled out a .22 caliber pistol, put it to the side of his head, said “What, you think I won’t?” — and pulled the trigger.

He survived, eventually recovered, and started to take depression and his mental health seriously. He changed his life for the better, and embarked on what would become a 20 year (and counting) career in the music industry. He is also a very active advocate for mental health issues, depression awareness, and suicide prevention. OG.

He also happens to be able to rap his fuckin ass off, gifted with a naturally gravelly voice and on-point delivery.
