Providence/Warwick, Rhode Island based Non-Prophets paired lyricist Sage Francis and with producer Joey Beats. The duo released the 12″ singles “Drop Bass” (1999) and “All Word No Play” (2000) on local imprint Emerge Music before releasing their official full length debut “Hope” on Lex Records in 2003. One of the most critically acclaimed independent hip-hop
albums to ever be released, “Hope” was lead by the single “Damage”.

Now-rare item “Drop Bass” b/w “Bounce” and “I Keep Calling” is the debut 12″ from Non-Prophets with all production by Joey Beats and featuring DJ Perseus and Vocab of Labeless Illtelligence fame.
