Fifth Platoon was a hip-hop group from Queens, NY. In 1989, they signed to SBK Records and, in 1991, released their first single and video “The Partyline”. The single was a low level hit for the group, who believed the record label was unwilling to promote the single enough for it to achieve the chart success they felt it deserved.
