Donald-D – F.B.I. (VLS) (1989) (FLAC + 320 kbps)
The first artist to appear because of Ice-T’s contract between the Rhyme Syndicate and Epic Records, Donald-D’s influence in the 90s was marginal. His anti-drugs stance was hammered home on his debut release, “FBI (Free Base Institute)” although he showed a lack of sensitivity elsewhere on his debut album on tracks such as “Just Suck”, which gloried in the Rhyme
Syndicate’s gangbanging activities. Although he moved to the west coast, Donald-D’s roots were in the Bronx. He met Ice-T in 1985 when he was visiting California with “Notorious” eventual co-producer, Afrika Islam.
Produced by Donald-D and Afrika Islam, “F.B.I.” was the lead single off “Notorious” from 1989.
