I ended up buying this as an LP a couple years ago in Costa Rica at a hole-in-the-wall book store. I was so excited to play what states as featuring the hit single “La Breakdance Fiesta”. I never heard of Break Machine before, so I swooped it up in a rush for only 300 colon (~$0.50 in USD). This being the only hip-hop I could find ANYWHERE in Costa Rica I couldn’t say no. I could only imagine this record being some oddbeat electro that I probably wouldn’t have been able to find anywhere in the states.
Upon returning home a few days later, I went straight to my decks to dust off what I was about to consider a latin electro synth nugget. Much to my demise, I pulled out the record and it turned out to be an american single of “Blame It On The Rain” by Milli Vanilli. I have NEVER been more disappointed in myself as a digger until that day.
Remember kids, always check the condition AND the actual record before purchasing.
