If you’re a loyal reader of The DJBooth, you already know that South Florida is home to many of the hip-hop game’s most noteworthy live-band crews. So we don’t need to tell you how exciting it is that two of Miami’s top ensembles, ArtOfficial and Llamabeats, have joined forces to drop a collaborative album under the Adventure Fund banner.

The newly-formed supergroup’s self-titled debut features 11 tracks’ worth of lush beats and high-energy bars from ArtOfficial’s Ao Logics and Llamabeats’s George Spits. Each of the singles released off the project (“I-95,” “Super Powers” and “Sticks & Stones,”) has received rave reviews from our readership. All production is done in-house, with assistance from Master Fader and The What’s Good?. Keith Cooper, Ralf Valencia, Ted Zimmerman provide support on, respectively, saxophone, bass and trumpet. Case Windu makes the sole outside guest appearance, with vocal contributions from Newsense and The What’s Good?
