Rapper Akinyele (aka Akinyele Adams aka Ak-Ta-Puss aka Akafella) followed the obscenity-laced recordings of 2 Live Crew with his own homage to sex on his 1993 debut, “Vagina Diner”.
Recorded for Interscope, it was followed a year later by “Bomb”. After moving to Zoo Records, Akinyele found an underground radio hit with the title track from his 1996 EP, “Put It In Your Mouth”. “Aktapuss: The Soundtrack” followed in 1999.
