New York emcee Al Tariq aka Fashion started out as an original member of early 90’s crew The Beatnuts but left soon to pursue a
solo career on Correct Records. Continuing to work with JuJu and Psycho Les as producers, Al Tariq released his 1996 solo debut
“God Connections” led by the single “Do Yo Thang”.

A number of 12-inch singles followed, and he also recorded with the likes of Missin’ Linx (aside Black Attack & Problemz), DJ
Honda, Non Phixion, and DJ Spinna.

“Feel This Shit” b/w “Black Nasty Muthafucka” came out in 2000 on Psycho+Logical Records, fully produced by Necro.
