Boombap Relickz proudly presents a true underground gem from the late 90s.

Originally released in 1999 on the legendary Canadian indie label Peanuts & Corn Records, this album brought together two sharp voices from the prairie underground: Pip Skid (a.k.a. Wicked Nut) and Gruf the Druid. What started as a new creative outlet for the two MCs quickly turned into one of the most distinctive releases from the Peanuts & Corn catalogue.

Across dusty, head-nodding production by non-other than mcenroe, Fermented Reptile dive into politics, consumer culture and the strange logic of everyday society. Tracks like The Law question authority and police power, while others flip perspectives and characters to expose the absurdities of modern life. It s socially conscious rap delivered with wit, sarcasm and a heavy dose of wordplay. Raw, thoughtful and unafraid to challenge the status quo.

More than two decades later and including 3 bonus tracks, this album sounds like a time capsule from a fiercely independent corner of hip-hop.
