We are back to the hidden Gems with another DOPE album from the 206 (Seattle). Indeed, we are proud to announce we got the Doublevision crew in the house. Doublevision is composed of Bean One (the producer), Page 3 & X.Troydinaire (the two Emcees). In 1999 they put out their first and last album called The Year Two gee, a real Gem that was only pressed on CD format at the time. This solid project captures the sound of an era and how the 206 sounded back then. 18 tracks album, pure Heat, Boom Bap, Conscious, Hardcore styles, just as we like it. On a side note: Bean One produced for many talented Artists such as Living Legends, Macklemore, Black Sheep, Jurassic 5, Supernatural, X Clan, Rasco, Source of Labor, Nomad, The Silent Lamb Project, just to name a few. Also, in this album you will clearly hear the Do The Math influences, this is because Bean One and Vitamin D were connected, D is mentioned in their shout too. It’s a small world. So yeah, it was about time we release this bomb album for the first time on vinyl and that we repress the CD format, the OG CD being impossible to find at a decent price.
