The W.I.S.E. Guyz – Time For Peace (VLS) (1989) (FLAC + 320 kbps)

The W.I.S.E. Guyz was a hip-hop crew emerging in the late 80’s. Signed to Atlantic Records, the group was fronted by duo Dwayne Simon aka Muffla & Lorenzo Grooms aka Big Ill. In 1989, the group released their debut album “eF yoU eN Kay E”, produced by L.A. Posse Productions which was Muffla and Big Ill with Stretch (Live Squad, 2Pac, Thug Life). The first single “Time For Peace” didn’t appear to chart, but the music video received some airplay on RockAmerica. The follow-up single “If My Pillow Could Talk” also flopped and after that, it appeared as if The W.I.S.E. Guyz disbanded.

Since then, Dwayne Simon has written songs for artists such as LL Cool J, TLC, Blaque, Nick Cannon, Kid Rock, Amanda Blank and Kristinia DeBarge. Lorenzo Grooms has written songs for artists such as Gina Thompson and Funkmaster Flex & Big Kap.
