The Afro-Rican Connection – It’s Live (VLS) (1986) (FLAC + 320 kbps)

A classic Miami bass and hip-hop group centered around musician and producer Derrick Rahming. With fellow DJ Juan Arroyo, Rahming started recording as The Afro-Rican Connection releasing the single “It’s Live” in 1986, and also “Bass Attack” in the same year under the alias We Down Express. From there, the crew settled with the name Afro-Rican, releasing a string of bass and electro hip-hop albums in the 90’s on Lauderdale, Florida based Hip Rock Records as well as on Luke Skywalker Records.
