“Dr. Dre’s 1993 masterpiece The Chronic.”

the chronic came out in 1992

Such a kind of descriptions should be avoided but only not this much-anticipated and heavy slept-on by the masses masterpiece compilation that was way ahead of it’s time… Well 4 sheezzeee it contains some fillers and experimentals or singleday airplays which is obvious too & can’t be denied… but! Its done almost in the same way as it ever been made at the Deathrow when we take a look back through the most of the VA or Soundtrack releases (aint talkin bout those GreatestHits compalations off course)))) Just take The Aftermath Comp presented by DRE which definetly is half-shitty and made over and stands only on a few hits (I even wondered at those times why shouldn’t Dre let out some better hits over better beats that I’m pretty sure he was capable of – maybe it was a try to place a bet and to mash up some more underprojects as a try to find more protejes to make money. Enterpreneuring is Dre’s trademark anyway). So.. This Chronic 2000 oftenly has not been even cheked by many cause after his 2nd solo LP just in a while and not waisting no time he started spreading his Dretox and there were plenty mixtapes, advances, promotapes and bootlegs which were named after not Dretox only but The Chronic 2000 as well so shit was a bit mixed up even for those heavy coolectioners. Also It’s pretty rare especially as one of the latest or even the latest one from Death Row Golden era releases – for example similair in both moments to Too Gangsta For Radio VA. So, well this one holds a few dimes on it, and production comes from different beatmakers/ Don’t hate on it just cause it’s beautifull, each one will find his best half part!
