With the Filthy Album Egyptian Lover did not followed the upcomming Gangsta Rap Genre. The Major Label Priority wantend Egypt to produce Hardcore Hip Hop, but Egypt denied and so he only put out this LP and two Singles on Nu Beat. In 1988 Egpyt knew that Electro Beats will ever be the Future and that the 808 Galore will rise while the Mülleimer Schrumpelbeatz of NWA and all the others Gangsta Wanna Be´s will be bog down like all the small Graves in the Shadow of the Pyramids. Only the Monuments will stay for Dynasties.
