Platterpush and Codeks have been DJ’ing since the late 90’s, recording and touring with live bands. Turntablism is an important aspect of his their style which is evident in both their live sets and releases.
Platterpush and Codeks were the founding members and co‐producers of Down Under Beats crew (Dialectrix, Joenew, Immune, 13th Son), a hip collective that toured extensively and released two albums in the mid 2000’s.

The Producer/Dj duo have gone on to produce for many artists such as Thundamentals, P.Smurf and Lotek. Their production ranges from down tempo boom bap to dancehall bangers but maintains a distinctive musicality.

The pair have just completed their first production album titled ‘Planet of the Misfits’ featuring 22 amazing lyricists from all around world. The project has seen them work with some of their favourite US MC’s like Percee P, Blueprint and Reks, as well as a bunch local heroes like Muph, Dialectrix, P.Smurf, and Talakai.
